THE SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE AND WORKSHOP
The Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN), Plateau State branch organized the Annual Scientific Conference on Tuesday being the 6th July, 2021 at the APIN Laboratory Seminar Hall, Old Juth, Jos, Plateau State. It was attended by Students, Researchers and Scientists from different parts of the Country.
In the bid for better understanding about different subject matters,  Intellectuals and experienced Research Persons were given the opportunity to share from their bucket of experience and expertise on different topics. Among these icons and Guest Speakers was Prof. Naomi Nari James-Rugu  who delivered a powerful presentation on the topic titled “Developing a befitting Research Topic and Proposal” on Thursday being the 8th July, 2021. Her technique of delivering the Presentation was quite exquisite and proficient.
The Presentation was so interesting, educating, informative and exciting. It also revived the “Research Spirit” in the minds of the listeners and some of them showed interest to be mentored by the erudite Professor. She concluded the presentation by saying we should be Researchful Workers. It was an exciting prospect for me.
Thank you Prof for explaining the Concept on how to develop a befitting Research Topic and Proposal in a very simplified manner.

ANOTHER LAUREL FOR THE ERUDITE PROFESSOR : MOST MOTHERLY LECTURER

ANOTHER LAUREL FOR THE ERUDITE PROFESSOR
With great pleasure and sense of gratitude, i had the privilege to receive on behalf of my Prestigious Prof. Naomi N. James-Rugu an Award during the “Dinner, Magazine and Award Night” organized by the 2021 Graduating Students from the Department of Zoology, University of Jos. Worthy of note, an Award of Excellence was Presented to Prof. Naomi Nari James-Rugu as the MOST MOTHERLY LECTURER. This in my view is not surprising since this erudite Professor possesses the quality of a mother. I was oppoturned to chat with some of the Students who revealed that apart from teaching, mummy creates time and mentors her Students. Furthermore, she stresses on the need for Students to embrace the word of God and practicalize it according to their faith. According to her, adherence to ones Faith has a number of advantages which leads to success. She believes that all humans have been divinely designed to serve as angels on assignment.
Congratulations to you Ma!!!
